Hi! I'm new, obviously.
I'm Catherine, and I'm 15. I spend far too much time reading - time I probably should be spending revising! Most recently I read To Kill A Mockingbird. I enjoyed it a lot, until we really overdid it in my English class. Same problem with Pride and Prejudice, really, except I still love that book. And anything by Jane Austen, actually.
My very favourite book has to be The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams; that guy's insane. Other favourites are anything by Douglas Adams, anything by Jane Austen, Lord Of The Rings, and Roald Dahl's short stories for adults.
And while I'm here, I was wondering: has anyone read any of the Erast Fandorin series by Boris Akunin (that's a pseudonym, I think). They're translated from Russian, and so far there have been 2 books brought out in the UK. Am I the only one who loves these books?
